December and January Book Haul

Hey everyone,

Recently, I realised that I've never shown my December book haul anywhere, not on here and not on Instagram. So I've decided to combine that with my January book haul, and just make one big, happy book overload blogpost!

Let's dive right in(to the big pile of books :D)!

Of course, we'll start with the December books!

This is my December haul. Most of these books were gifts, but some of them I purchased myself. I think this is my biggest haul ever!

For Christmas, I received the last three Vampire Academy books, and I bought the fourth one myself. I really wanted to be able to finish this series when I wanted, and now I can!
I also got Soundless because it's so different from other books. At least, books that I've come across. I really enjoyed reading it as well!

My first ever Rainbow Rowell books. I absolutely adored Fangirl! I'm actually currently reading Carry On, but I'm not really in the mood for it. I'll give that another chance when I do feel like it, so it'll at least get a fair chance. Fangirl was an early Christmas gift from me to me because that seemed like a good enough excuse to get it :)

In November, I bought Six of Crows, thinking I'd just read that because every booktuber was going on and on about how you don't need to read the Grisha trilogy to read SoC. Committing to another trilogy was something I didn't really feel like doing, but after a while I just thought "but I do want that background information.. and I am curious".  So I bought Shadow and Bone and read it straight away (and loved it). My boyfriend then surprised me with Siege and Storm because he wanted me to be able to continue on with the series.

I've been wanting to read Victoria Schwab books for ages, and so I put Vicious on my Christmas wish list because I'd read good things about it. My boyfriend's grandmother was the lovely person who gave it to me for Christmas.

A few months ago, I read Falling Kingdoms and loved it. I soon bought Rebel Spring and then I couldn't find Gathering Darkness anywhere. Last month, I saw Frozen Tides in a book store and got it with a gift card I'd received for Christmas. So no I owned books 1, 2 and 4... Yea.. You'll see Gathering Darkness in the January part of this haul.

My brother got me this for Christmas. I died. Not literally of course, but holy crap this is amazing. Sometimes, I just stare at them and gently pet them, and yes I'm crazy.

My best friend got me this ginormous beast of a book. A bind-up of Washington Irving stories, including the Legend of Sleepy Hollow! It's huge, and heavy, and beautiful!

That's it for the December part, onto the January books!
Not as many as the previous month, but they're all gorgeous and amazing!

I pretty much ordered/bought these around the same time. Naturally, I had to get part 3 in the Falling Kingdoms series, so there it is! I decided to get the last part in the Grisha trilogy as well. And then I saw Ice like Fire in a book store and I couldn't help myself. It's so beautiful!

My mum got me these because it's a stressful time right now and she knew these would cheer me up. I love Matilda, but I didn't own it in English yet. And I've never read the Witches, but I'm interested. I've heard it's quite creepy for a children's book.

Lastly, I bought these gems. Holy crap, these are perfect. I couldn't wait for the paperback, so I got the hardcovers and they are magnificent. I'm in love.

That's it for my combined book haul! I hope you enjoyed it!
Let me know which of these books you've read and what you thought about them.

Love,

Sharon
